Source Motorcycle Parts from China (Day 1): At Yiwu Auto Parts Market

Hi everyone,

My name is Nuno Castro. I’m Colombian-Portuguese and have spent most of my life here in China.

Today, I’d like to share a little about my work and give you a glimpse into what a typical day of sourcing in Yiwu can look like.

Today, I had the pleasure of welcoming a group of clients from Brazil who flew to Yiwu to experience the market for the first time.

Their main objective was to find reliable companies and factories specializing in motorcycle parts and accessories.

We spent most of the day at the Auto Parts Market, Sector 5, 4th Floor, where we visited numerous stores and suppliers offering a wide variety of products.

The selection ranged from electronic components and vehicle spare parts to motorcycle accessories such as seat covers and other related products.

After visiting multiple suppliers and discussing the clients’ requirements, we were able to identify eight suppliers that offered products matching what our clients were looking for.

We then collected their contact information and began the next stage of the sourcing process: requesting product catalogs, price lists, specifications, and minimum order quantities (MOQs).

For us, sourcing is about much more than simply finding a supplier.

Our goal is to support our clients throughout the entire purchasing process — from identifying the right factories and negotiating prices to arranging product and factory inspections, coordinating production, and eventually managing the shipping process.

The ultimate goal is simple: to help our clients find reliable suppliers, competitive pricing, and quality products, while making the entire sourcing experience in China as smooth and efficient as possible.

Today was just the beginning of the process, and I’m looking forward to seeing how these supplier connections develop into successful orders for our Brazilian clients.
