How to Get Product Prices in Yiwu market?

Yiwu market is huge, has millions of products.

How to get the REAL product prices fast, and keep all these information organized, is a big challenge for visitors, eps. for the first time visitor.

After years of practice, this article summarizes a FAST and EASY way to get prices and take notes.

Step 1: Get something to take photos

Easy! I believe everyone has phone on hand now, which is good enough. In the early days, we used cameras ;) 

But if your phone battery can not last for a full day(6hrs minimum) of taking photos, you need to prepare a power bank.

In China, all power banks need have clear marks for its capacity on it, otherwise can not be on a plane. Beside, you can only carry power banks of less than 100Wh without approval before fly. But you can usually rent one from your hotel.  

So, have a mobile phone with enough power supply. You are done on this!

Step 2: Get somewhere to write on

If you have a journal / notebook, fine.

If you have white board?  superb. 

However, the easiest way is to use the floor inside shop to write notes. The reason is - it's big enough to put the samples on. (usually you can not put samples on your notebook pages)

Step 3: Get something to write with

If you use journal / notebook, you need a pen.

If you use whiteboard, you need a whiteboard marker.

If you write on the floors of the shops/showrooms, you also need a white board marker.

Better to take a few new ones with you. If you don't have, no worries. Almost all shops can offer you a whiteboard marker for free.

Step 4: Action

1. Lay samples on the floor.
2. Write down notes (prices, MOQ/minimum order quantities, and other information) beside the samples.
3. Put the name card of the shop (EVERY shop has their name cards on their desk)
4. Take photo / video.
5. Finish!
