---What to eat after a tiring day?

Yiwu Restaurants, like its commodity wholesales, are rich in variety. Islamic restaurants, Korean restaurants, Indian restaurants, Brazilian restaurants, Japanese restaurants... All run by people from their own countries, not by Chinese.

Of course there are also plenty of traditional Western restaurants and Chinese restaurants. And you'll also have to try some REAL Yiwu food.

As the Non-Yiwu population keeps growing, the number of Non-Yiwu restaurants is also growing. People from other parts of the world bring their local food into Yiwu. This is great news for anyone who is looking for something to eat. A blessing to those busy businessmen!



Of course, this does not mean that Yiwu has none of its own local food for visitors. Don't worry. You're going to find them right below:

Real Yiwu Food:

The noodles are thicker, more silky and elastic, with different toppings like steak, chicken, beef ...There are plenty of stretched noodles restaurants at Huagong Rd.

Here I recommend two of my favorites: HuiZhen Noodles Restaurant and Pangzi Steak Noodles Restaurant (No. 363 Huagong Rd.) Because of the heavy population, the restaurant is not that clean sometimes. But I bet you'll forget this soon after you taste its noodles.

I strongly suggest you try some other restaurants for noodles in the same area, because I always have a feeling that I must have missed something big there.(It's a pity I don't have enough time to try them all)

Yiwu people in the past judge how good a wife is by her skills for stretched noodles ;-))


#2 Donghe meat pie
This is a piece of thin fried pie with some meat and vegetables inside.

Personally I don't like it very much as it has too much oil. But it's very famous. So I guess there must be a reason for being famous. You can try this by yourself. Several restaurants cooking this are located in the same area of stretched noodles I introduced above, along Huagong road.
